Thursday AM Intermediate Wheel

Thursdays from 10am - 1pm

Instructor: Steven Kin (Pronouns: They/Them)

Session 2: June 27-August 15 (7 week course-Prorated for July 4)

In this class taught by Pewabic Vessel-Maker, Steven Kin, students will focus on intermediate and advanced wheel throwing techniques.

Who should take this class?: This class is best suited for adults (18+) who are familiar with wheel throwing + glazing and would like to learn more advanced techniques. The basics will not be covered.

Class includes: 

  • 3 hours of weekly instruction (during scheduled class time)
  • Glazes, slips, underglazes, and firings 
  • A small studio shelf
  • 3 open studio opportunities a week (schedule posted) 
  • The first 25 pounds of clay

 

Please note: Purchases are not transferable. No refund will be issued during the first week of class. The Pewabic Education Studio is under no obligation to reschedule classes that are canceled upon the closure of the facility due to inclement weather, power outages, misunderstanding of schedule, Covid shutdown, and/or personal schedule shifts. There is no guarantee that a make-up class will be offered. Classes will not be prorated to accommodate a missed class, nor will refunds be issued.
