Mary's tiles are made from porcelain stoneware. Each s carved, made into a mold and hand-pressed. Multiple firigns and layers of transparent jewel-tone glazes that are applied meticulously by hand give the tiles a unique look. They are functional for backsplashes, fireplaces and as decorative tiles.

Mary is honored to be a member of the Roycrofters At Large Association based in East Aurora, New York.

"My work focuses on decorative carved imagery on vases, platters and tiles. The imagery is inspired by narrative mythology, Medieval illuminations, and carving and heraldry."

Color variation and the hand-pressed look of the tile in edges and thickness are an inherent part of the process and are desired. All tiles will craze (crackle) over time, and each is a unique work of art.
