Mary Stratton designed many line-drawn animal tiles to be used in schools, such as Schultze Elementary in Detroit, as well as in private residences, circa 1926. True to its historic size, this tile measures 2 5/8"x 2 7/8", making it a rectangle instead of the traditional square.
