This beautifully handpainted tile features A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare. Pewabic founder Mary Stratton did several series of storybook tiles for installation. The original of this tile can be seen today in the fireplace surround in what used to be the Detroit Public Library's Children's Reading Room.
